"The Silent Empire" [EP]

"The Silent Empire is a tribute to the melancholic moroccan Amazigh poetry and traditional folk throat singing. Sung in the High Atlas mountains the Tamawayt literally "The Marching song" is an emotional singing that alternates between rejoicing and suffering and deep spiritual reflection. It is perceived as a journey into the soul of Amazigh.

From the Alma mater we march into oblivion, reaching the high Atlas pantheon."

" From the mountains to the plains, from the desert to the sea, woman appeared as a benevolent goddess as she was made of the elements, she was the elements and all that embellished them in the eyes of men. But it was in spring that as the mountain streams came tumbling down, edged with brown foam and bordered by green tamarisk, a muffled drum of pebbles sounded and she flourished and became as ethereal as an antelope. She became conjoined with the rebirth of Nature.～ Mohammad Khair-Eddine."

Emanating from the Moroccan dry lands, Hedon is a project that seeks to channel and muster undiscovered frequencies inspired by desolate and noir tinged landscapes feeding off the north-african hypnotic rhythms and Moroccan unique aesthetics.
